What Happened To Elvis Presley's Former Fiancée, Ginger Alden?

Although Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s relationship is well documented, it was the rockstar’s last fiance, actress Ginger Alden, who spent his final moments with him.
The two met during her visit to Graceland to meet Presley. The young actress was instantly smitten with 41-year-old Presley, and the couple began dating in November 1976.
They dated for two months before becoming engaged, but their romance ended when Presley passed away in 1977 at 42, while Alden was still only 20.
Since Presley's passing, Alden has kept a relatively low profile. In the '80s, she took on several acting roles, such as Lady Grey in the film of the same name.
Her role in the 1980 film about a rock star who abused prescription drugs, "Living Legend: The King of Rock and Roll," made her tense relationship with the Presley family worse.
While Presley’s father, Vernon, seems neutral about Alden, the rocker’s uncle, Vester, dislikes Alden intensely. Vester told Express that Alden was banned from Graceland.
He added, "We’re not interested in her. She took advantage of Elvis’ name." In 2014, almost 40 years after Presley’s death, Alden released a book about her relationship with Elvis.
She wrote "Elvis & Ginger: Elvis Presley’s Fiancee and Last Love Finally Tells Her Story" to "set the record straight" about the couple and share some never-heard-before stories.
Alden’s memoir mentioned some alarming details, such as stories of abuse by Presley. However, the overall theme of her book was that she fully loved Presley for who he was.
In a 2023 Facebook post, Alden shared, "I loved him deeply, knew he felt the same, took care of him, pampered and tried to understand him as complex as I learned he could be."
