JOHN STAMOS' RELATIONSHIP WITH TAYLOR HAWKINS EXPLAINED

The death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins on March 25 created an outpouring of tributes for the musician who was liked and respected both for his drumming acumen and his charismatic personality. Among the several performers grieving the death of Hawkins was actor John Stamos, who shared some messages Hawkins had sent him.
Stamos — best known as an actor but also an experienced drummer — shared the final text he received from Hawkins. He tweeted, “This was Taylor Hawkins' last text to me: 'Ya We've yet to fully have a hang - Got a put that s*** together before we die' [...] I'm so f****** sad. Another one gone too soon.”
Stamos shared a clip of Hawkins on his Instagram page where Hawkins was jokingly responding to a GEICO commercial Stamos was a part of. Hawkins stated, “Stamos is a good buddy of mine […] But I'm the best stick flipper around. Sorry, Stamos.” Stamos would caption the clip by saying, “Yes, Taylor you are the best stick flipper, and I miss you pal!.”
