PETER LORRE
Along with classics like Alfred Hitchcock's "Casablanca" and "The Maltese Falcon," Peter Lorre was known for playing villains, like the killer in "M."
Lorre passed away on March 23, 1964. Fans wishing to pay tribute can find his cremated remains at the Cathedral Mausoleum, Corridor C, Alcove of Reverence, niche 5, tier 1.
MEL BLANC
Voice actor Mel Blanc brought thousands of cartoon characters to life, including Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, and continued doing so until his death on July 10, 1989.
Those looking to pay their respects can find his grave in section 13, Pinewood, Plot #149. His headstone features his character Porky Pig’s famous catchphrase: "That’s all, folks!"
JUDY GARLAND
Judy Garland died from an accidental drug overdose in 1969. Originally, she was laid to rest in Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York, but in 2017 she was moved.
Today, her remains are in Hollywood Forever Cemetery in a section of the Abbey of the Psalms Mausoleum in the Judy Garland Pavillion, wall section 29, crypt B-35.
HARRY COHN
Although producer and co-founder of Columbia Pictures, Harry Cohn, shaped Hollywood’s Golden Age, his legacy is one of control, intimidation, and sexual exploitation.
After his funeral on Columbia Pictures Stage 12, Cohn was buried by the Cathedral Mausoleum in section 8, Garden of Legends, lot 86, grave 1.
FAY WRAY
Best remembered for her role in "King Kong," Fay Wray died in 2004, just six years after she suffered a terrible fall in her New York home.
Although there was no public service for Wray’s fans at the time of her death, they can visit her grave in the Garden of Legends (section 8), lot 2300, grave 7.
