  • Chris's undergraduate thesis, which was about the literary impact of 18th-century fart jokes, won him the department's top honor, the Alice D. Snydor Prize for Excellence in English.
  • He has written a few short films, and self-published a handful of comics.

Experience

Chris' first byline appeared in an issue of MAD Magazine, where he freelanced while in college. Then, following a short stint as a software engineer, Chris began blogging about video games. He's never looked back. His reported features, opinion pieces, and explainers about games, comic books, movies, and television have appeared in outlets like ESPN, Maxim, Playboy, GameSpot, Mashable, The Star Wars Insider, Digital Trends, and plenty of others. Chris joined Static Media as a freelancer in 2016, and signed on full-time to help establish Static's interview program in 2019. Since 2021, he's been the lead features editor at /Film, the best movie website on the internet.

Education

Chris has a Bachelor's of Arts in English from Vassar College.
