We love music as much as you do, and we aim to create an environment where the rich history of genres are celebrated. Although light listeners are always welcome, our core mission is to enrich the knowledge of self-proclaimed music aficionados, and answer the questions diehard rock fans didn't know they had. We also give a platform to the opinions even the most proud music snobs might be hesitant to share, like an airtight case on why iconic lyrics should have never seen the light of day, or putting the cringiest hits of the '80s on blast.

Of course, no trusted voice in the world of music is without a knowledgeable team of writers and editors. Since our launch with Static Media in 2016, we've attracted a roster of experts who are well-versed in a variety of genres and perform the deepest dives on your favorite songs and musicians. But what truly sets the Grunge team apart is our well-informed opinion content, from our broad range of unique rankings down to our niche takes, like building a strong case for why a forgotten band of the '70s deserves a smash comeback.
