The Theory About Hasbulla Magomedov's Rare Genetic Condition

Hasbulla Magomedov, a 19-year-old Russian blogger, is a TikTok and Instagram sensation. The 3-foot-3-inches tall internet celebrity has taken social media by storm with his prank and spoof videos on Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters. So much so that he is often referred to as Mini Khabib, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

According to The Daily Mail, he started making videos for fun in 2020 during the Covid-19-induced lockdown in which he would pretend to kick MMA champions twice his size. After one of his videos mimicking Khabib Nurmagomedov went viral on TikTok in 2021, he rose to stardom and amassed over 2 million followers on Instagram.

So, what's so special about the pint-sized star who challenges his arch-nemesis singer Abdu Rozik, calls out YouTuber Logan Paul for a fight, and wants to punish former UFC champion Conor McGregor because "he talks too much" (via Daily Star)? It's all in his attitude.

Magomedov Has Dwarfism, Just Like Lionel Messi

Magomedov weighs 35 pounds and has a squeaky voice. According to LAD Bible, he suffers from Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD), a rare genetic disorder that makes him look like a 5-year-old. Lionel Messi too was diagnosed with GHD, per Bleacher Report. Since his family could not afford the treatment (then $900 a month), FC Barcelona offered to foot the bill.

"When I was 11 years old, they discovered that I had a growth hormone deficiency, and I had to start a treatment to help me to grow," Messi, who became a world-class player against all odds, once shared with The Express. "Every night I had to stick a needle into my legs, night after night after night, every day of the week, and this over a period of three years. I was so small, they said that when I went onto the pitch, or when I went to school, I was always the smallest of all. It was like this until I finished the treatment and I then started to grow properly."

Dr. Karan Raj, a renowned NHS surgeon, says when the brain's pituitary gland doesn't produce the growth hormone, it causes stunted growth, high-pitched voices, and facial abnormalities. Though, if treated in childhood with Human Growth Hormone (HGH) injections, patients can grow taller during puberty. While Messi grew from 4'2" to 5'5" and lives an extraordinary life, Magomedov isn't as lucky.

He talks tough and drives fast

Magomedov often flaunts his driving skills on Instagram. His small stature doesn't stop him from recklessly steering BMWs and ATVs on streets, flanking 4WDs on beach fronts, shooting rifles, and firing an AK-104 (via SportsKeeda).

In his first-ever interview, he roasted Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo without mincing words. "I could not care less about Ronaldo. I am more famous than him. The only thing he does in a match is pass around the ball," he told Barstool Sports (via YouTube). In the same interview, he ignited tensions with Abdu Rozik, warning the next time he sees Rozik he'll "throw a hook," and if locked in a room "one man will walk out, and the other can stay slumped on the floor."

The self-proclaimed fiery TikTok star aspires to become the Minister of Internal Affairs for Dagestan and "find his haters and make them panic." He also wants to remove all speed cameras and allow citizens to drive without a license plate.
